Debated between this hat and the ones that let your ponytail out, but aESThEtIcS got the best of me. I have a big head so even at the loosest setting it’s a bit snug, but still perfect and doesn’t fly off easily. Only downside was that the plastic adjuster on the neck string kept sliding off, but it’s an easy fix - just tie a knot at the bottom.I really liked the handsome brown color of this hat. But then it faded in the sun fairly quickly. It became a sort of beige violet color. It’s really a shame because the style and fit are really nice. I still wear it. I just wish it wasn’t this stupid faded color.My husband was dx with basal cell carcinoma on his forehead, cheek, and nose etc. The treatment involves blue lights, and surgery. Now several years of follow-up appts. So, sun screen and sun protection are essential!The brim of this hat seems to give him the sheltered shade needed to prevents him from the concentrated rays of the sun. The brim also is long enough to keep the sunlight off your neck. We love it; I have one too.Looks stylish and fits well. The lock on the cord is useful in wind to keep the hat on.Hat is made of waterproof material, the brim is a little to big for me and not stiff enough. It is too “ floppy”.Ordered for golf crazed husband. He likes the color, weight and fit. I like that it will provide more sun protection than baseball style hat he usually wears golfing.
