San Diego Hat for Little Girls - UV Protection Paper/Polyester Sun Hat - Perfect for Beach, Park, and Outdoor Activities

Darling! It feels like a quality hat. My only negative is the “string feels (abs looks) plasticky. I would have liked cotton (leather is too much money prob). Might buy a second for other child. I’d love one my size.Im a grown woman with apparently the head of a 4-8 year old,as this hat fits me great. Always have issues finding adult sized hats that don't make me feel like my head is swimming in them, so was very happy that this worked out. I work in a greenhouse all day so this has been a god send to keep my nose and face from getting toasted. A couple of the clear plastic threads that are used to sew each "layer" of the hat together are coming apart, but the overall integrity of the hat is still there. Definitely recommend for all you fellow small headed folks out there!The quality, fit, and style are great. The hat looks really cute on. I have liked the San Diego Hat Company products for years. However, I wish the brim of this hat extended another inch or so... the sun still gets in my child’s eyes most of the time. But at least her neck and ears are protected from sun exposure.This is a great sun hat. It has a great wide brim and the weave is tight to keep the sun out. It is good for travelling as it comes back to shape nicely. The fit was a little large on my 5 year old but she wears it anyway. She complains that the bead doesn't stay as tightly as she would like it to. I found it has got a bit dirty but it has been through a lot. I haven't tried to clean it but it seems like it will be quite easy to do so. I have had a few comments on how sweet she looks in her hat at school. It would be good if it came in other colors - more relevant to school uniforms.Perfect for the beach, tie makes it stay on her head even in the water.Fits both my 4 year old and 6 year old they love the neck straps, so far these are the only hats they keep on for longer than 10 minutes.Just arrived and we love it. It's slightly big for my five year olds head but with the strap it will stay on and she will be able to wear it for a long time. It's a bit pricey for a child's hat but I really wanted to keep the sun off her entire face. The brim is sturdy and large and should give her a good amount of shade. It's a mini version of an adult gardening hat that I have. Love it !I tried 3 woman's sized hats and all were too large. This child-size fit perfectly and will be getting me through the rest of the summer in my garden center job. It is sturdy, has a strong adjustable neck cord, and the substantial brim makes it UPF 50+ (didn't say in description, but tag on hat stated that). I am ordering another one for at home.Edited: (2022) 5 years later and 5 years working in garden center and still in perfect condition!
