It’s good for the price. Functions well. Just the pedal feels a little flimsy but over all satisfiedDon’t be fooled by the affordable price. I haven’t had this stand long but so far it measures up with some higher dollar stands I’ve owned. Very smooth and gives you a great amount of control over the amount of open your needing for the many different playing situations. The adjustment wings and the spring tension nut are good quality and should last a long time for a drummer who know how not to over tighten things. The legs may take a minute to set as to not have any, what I call Hi Hat Wobble, but once set on a solid flat surface it’s as slid as a rock.Definitely worth the money.I purchased this high hat stand for the youth room at the church i work at to replace the cheap broken one we were using. I went with the DW 700 because of the price and the positive reviews. Various drummers, including myself play using this high hat stand several times per week.First of all, when i received the high hat stand, i couldn't believe they fit it in such a small box (a little over a foot!) After opening and assembling, which was fairly easy (i have assembled many other models before and this one is very similar) i put some high hats on it and played it for a while. The stand feels solid and similar to more expensive $200+ models i have played on. Pedal was comfortable and felt solid. High hats when raised by the spring sat parallel with each other and without touching. It doesn't want to fall over either.I would recommend this high hat stand to anyone. Especially in a setting where the kit will be played by lots of different, unprofessional drummers and be abused. Mine is holding up well!I bought this for weekend church gigs. I was tired of lugging DW 9000 stuff everywhere, so I got this and some other lightweight hardware. This is no-frills but does the job. I'm an experienced drummer (20years) and I don't tend to play too hard, so durability-wise, I have not had a problem with it, but it is definitely not going to hold up to a touring situation and possibly not for heavy hitters. I had no issues with the height of the hats. I can definitely see the plastic bushing wearing out at some point. The spring is not real responsive, but it worked fine with my 14" HHX hats. For my purposes, this works great.This thing is a lot beefier than it looks in photos. I had a 3 leg DW 7000 hihat stand just before this, and I was worried that I took a big step down in quality, but besides a couple small details, this thing is awesome for a lot cheaper if a price. It is solid, has a strong, adjustable spring, and it works smoothly. I would definitely recommend it to get a good hihat for a lower price.PDHHC20 Concept Series Hi-hat Stand - 2 LegI've had bits of PDP hardware pieces that I really like and are built well. I didn't hesitate to purchase this regardless of the cost because of my experience with PDP. This was my first full scale hardware piece from them and I am very disappointed in both the build and feel. From the seat to the pedal I just didn't like this stand. It is very noisy, springy sounding which is the mark of a cheaply made stand and really when you delve into the adjustments and overall feel you can tell that is what it is. I really wanted to like this stand and I gave it a good chance but I just can't with this one. PDP makes good hardware in my experience, sleek, smart and functional. You just can't win them all and I hope they reevaluate this stand because it puts a low mark on the concept series.I purchased this from Arkansas Musicworks, a market place seller. They are a great company and have great customer service. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase from them again. Be aware that they will charge you for return shipping and depending on what it is it could be a healthy blemish on your return.I am very happy with the product I got for the money I paid.. Maybe it doesn't have a very desirable name on it.. But I also don't need to pay extra money for a name, when I can get something that functions properly and smoothly for cheaper.. Clutch is nice on it and the pedal has good action to it.. Hey its outfitted with a spike that was a bonus.. And it came 3 days earlier then I expected which makes me happy as well.. Overall 4 star product let me get a little more time with it and I might change it to 5! !UPDATE! Changed it to 5 stars... I have had this stand for YEARS now and it still works as well as it did the first day.. Make sure you keep it clean and dont get it all twisted up and your good to go!! Love it!I gave the Pacific Drums DW700Hi-HatStand 4 stares because there was no instructions, not even an exploded view printed on the side of the box. So after some DIY assembly, including the cymbal pair, things weren't quite right, so we searched the web for help. Again, only that lost the 5th star, the stand is priced right for beginners and more experienced drummers. I will recommend the stand at the next practice session.Buscaba un atril así para configuración con doble pedal, elegí este por ser una de las opciones más económicas y me parece no esta mal. Parece ser resistente y si acaso lo único que no me agradó es que no es tan práctico al transportar, comparé en fotos contra otros modelos y parece ser algo en común el hecho de que no se puede contraer la base del pedal para guardar en funda. Lo desconozco de fondo, pero haciendo la comparativa de precios, el pdp terminó siendo una opción bastante aceptable.Buen atril de hi hat, este modelo viene con el pedal liso, con lo que se puede hacer diferentes técnicas de hi hat.for at home part time use, this is great.Really happy with my PD hi-hat stand.
