Love the feel,doesn’t move around at all. Stays sturdy on my head. The sweat bands that come with it work well. I didn’t think I really needed to replace it with the thicker size one that come with it but I tried it anyway. Now it is even more perfectGet a little larger as it comes with removable sweat bands/spacers to reduce the size. It's got a higher sheen than appears in the pictures, in a very good way. It's super sturdy, very comfortable, and will probably outlast me.The best American made leather hat I've ever owned and I've owned alot! The burnt honey color was exactly like pics, and I'm size 23" fat head and large hat fit perfect with thickest sweat band. I highly recommend this hat, if you want best hat you could ever own that will last forever!At the age of 75 I suddenly became obsessed by hats.Particularly cowboy hats.It is embarrassing to tell how many hours I spent going over everything over and over.Comparing hats from every available company.Finally the weight was off my shoulders.I had chosen the beautifully plain Cowboy model.I immediately changed my mind and wanted the Cyclone model.American Hat Makers cancelled my order and I quickly bought the Cyclone in Blacktop.In three days the hat was in my hands and on my head for a perfect fit with the fitting kit employed.I could not be happier with the hat and the company.Looking for a leather hat to supplement my 20+ yr old Aussie kangaroo leather hat I ran across American Hat Makers hats. I was back and forth with the Cyclone or the Bison leather hat but decided I liked the look of the Cyclone better. It was a good decision (at least until I buy the Bison hat later). Order was placed on Jan 2nd with a delivery estimate of 13-15 Jan. It arrived on the 8th so thanks Amazon/American Hat Makers. The box was damaged so I expected the worst but it was packaged so well there was no damage to the hat. My measurement was right at 23" so I ordered a large. It was a little loose but a quick swap with the included size adjustments and it fits perfect. Being only familiar with the kangaroo leather I was surprised how thick and sturdy the Cyclone is. This hat should hold up to anything thrown at it. I am happy I bought it and will definitely look towards American Hat Makers for my next leather hat purchase.Excellent quality and an even better servicecould not fit any better even if i had it custom made for my head, this is very comfortable.Beautiful hat. Well packaged, this thing ain’t getting damaged in transit! From the smell of leather when you open the box, to the satisfaction you feel when putting a finely crafted hat on your head, this thing rocks. If a guy from NYC can wear this hat living in OK AND get told, nice hat, by both Oklahomans and Texans, then you know it’s gotta be nice. It was more than I was wanting to spend but after putting it on and wearing it, I have ZERO regret.Unfortunately, I like it so much I am already looking at their other hats to add to my collection.P.S. Not Amazon prime shipping but, it got to my door just as quickly.
