Hat didn’t come in authentic box as most American hat makers products, missing all 3 adjustment inserts. Had was majorly bent out of shape squished into tiny box inside a plastic bag. No tags, no anything. Totally dissatisfied with a 165 dollar hat ?The hat is of good quality leather and the stiching is good and tight. The reason for the 4 stars is the under part of the brim is unfinished.I wear this type of hat everyday working around the farm. We will see if it is waterproof as advertised.Make sure you measure your head before purchasing! If you measure 7-1/2 and it’s the largest measurement in let’s say a medium. Then get a large. The Velcro sweatbands will work perfectly. I measure 7-3/4 which I think is the largest measurement as a medium. I bought a medium and had to take the sweatband and glued Velcro out. The hat fits perfectly. Also, be aware of the length of your hair. If you measure your head, order the hat, then get a haircut, it will fit slightly bigger.
